This old building is still standing, despite leaning more and more every year. It is probably the most photographed building in my hometown. This time of year the vines turn that nice deep shade of red you see in this shot. it probably won't be around much longer, so I am happy I got a shot while it still stands.

It is definitely photogenic !!! but it needs a different angle or crop or SOMETHING and I am too tired to work out which ! but it's still gorgeous :nod:

Lol, thanks a lot. Yeah, this was one of many angles (most of which failed :() but I'm still happy with it.

Nice shot the composition seems to need a bit of work I'm not sure what though. It seems to me that this has some serious potential though as a location for moodier lighting. Like a cloudy day or near sunset or rise. I think it would make for a much more eye catching shot.

Yeah, it really does, I tried everything with this, as well as the 50 other shots I took of this building. This is the best I managed to get. Hopefully it'll stay standing til next fall so I can give it another go. Yeah, I'd like to get one during sunset. This is halfway up the mountain, so the valley and the sunset in the background would make a great shot. Thanks for the ideas.
